MINNEAPOLIS, MNย โ Not only are Democrats masters at gaslighting, they are also very good at shifting blame, refusing to take responsibility for their actions, and lying like itโs their job. Enter Minnesota Governorย Tim Walz.
The man who once branded ICE theย โGestapoโย and declared Minnesotaย โat warโย with the federal government now insists heโs never used inflammatory language. This staggering lie follows the tragic January 7 shooting of Renee Nicole Good, an incident Walz has used to launch an unprecedented verbal assault on federal authority.
THE “EXECUTIONER” GAFFE
In a press conference that has since gone viral for all the wrong reasons, Walz openly referred to DHS Secretaryย Kristi Noemย as anย โexecutioner.โย >ย Walz (January 8, 2026):ย โKristi Noem was judge, jury, and basically executioner yesterday.โ
Just minutes later, when questioned about his escalating rhetoric, Walz had the audacity to claim he was trying to “lower the temperature.” This is the same governor who has labeled law enforcement officers as โrogueโ and talked openly about deploying armed military troops to expel them from his state.
INCITING THE MOB
The rhetoric isn’t just coming from the top. Walz’s Lieutenant Governor,ย Peggy Flanagan, has openly urged Minnesotans to use their โbodiesโ to obstruct ICE law enforcement. Predictably, the mob has listened.
Following the fatal shooting of Goodโwhich federal officials like Noem and Vice Presidentย J.D. Vanceย have characterized as an act of self-defense after Good allegedly used her vehicle as a weaponโWalz announced he was deploying the National Guard. However, he wasn’t deploying them to stop the riots; he was deploying them to “protect” Minnesotans from federal agents he deems a threat.
FLIRTING WITH INSURRECTION
Walz is now explicitly invoking the Civil War as inspiration for his defiance. He brands federal agents “masked” and “undertrained,” accusing them of “kidnapping” citizens in unmarked vans.
This dangerous narrative has ledย President Donald Trumpย to threaten the use of theย Insurrection Act. On Truth Social, Trump warned that if “corrupt politicians” like Walz don’t stop the professional agitators from attacking the “Patriots of ICE,” he will send in federal troops to restore order.
Donald Trump:ย โIf the corrupt politicians of Minnesota don’t obey the law and stop the professional agitators and insurrectionists… I will institute the INSURRECTION ACT.โ
A TALE OF TWO CITIES: 2020 VS. 2026
The hypocrisy is breathtaking. This is the same Tim Walz who gave rioters free rein to burn Minneapolis to the ground in 2020, including a police precinct. Back then, he waited days to deploy the National Guard to defend his own citizens. In 2026, he needed only hours to float using those same troops to evict federal law enforcement.
Low-level violence is already simmering on the streets of the Twin Cities, and it is close to boiling over. ICE agents across the country are being showered with death threats, and instead of restraining the mob, Walz is providing the fuel.
THE END OF THE ROAD
Tim Walz and Attorney Generalย Keith Ellisonโwho is now desperately trying to seize control of the investigation from the FBIโhave every incentive to keep tensions high. Both are currently entangled in serious allegations involving the misuse of federal tax dollars. Nothing rallies the radical left faster than a manufactured showdown with Trump over immigration.
To think, this man almost became our Vice President. The Democratic Party is escalating this rhetoric because theyย needย this confrontation. They have been baiting and agitating until violence was no longer a risk, but a certainty.
